Millions want it, yet few achieve it. The never-ending quest for that one successful business has become for many a path that leads to frustrated dreams and broken wills.
Many would-be entrepreneurs question themselves and wonder if success and wealth is in fact a matter of luck or destiny. However, when we take the time to research those that have achieved major business goals and are enjoying success, we find one common denominator, a strong resolve to succeed.
Success is not a matter of luck. It is a matter of cause and effect. In fact, both achievement and the lack there of, both come about by very specific causes. The key to realize here is that all success or failure are the by products of the mind, the master cause for the success effect.
Those that succeed in business, more than anything else, more than money, more than help, more than connections, have the capacity to build a strong resolve to succeed that carries them through the tough times every business person faces.
Those that fail invariably don't have such resolve, therefore they see obstacles as insurmountable barriers that block their goals. Without this attitude of accepting "nothing but success", failure is not only likely, it's highly probable.
The following three steps will create a solid resolve to succeed. Incorporate them into your daily business habits and create for yourself an unstoppable spirit to succeed.
Adjust and maintain focus: Focus is a key component to success in any endeavor. Those that are serious about creating success in business must learn how to adjust and maintain focus. Adjust simply means to get clear on your business goals. Maintain refers to holding those clear goals in mind consistently.
Keep a Journal: A major tool in helping you maintain and refine your focus will be keeping a personal business journal. In your journal, you should record goals, plans, marketing strategies, progress, ect., ect.
In addition to helping you refine your focus, keeping a journal will also help you ascertain what strategies are working and which are wasting time and money. Journals answer the all important question, "Am I getting any progress from my actions?"
Writing detailed notes in a journal, reviewing them periodically, and taking the appropriate steps for progress will lead to success, as well as condition the mind to see success through.
Visualize success: Creating mental motion pictures of success is by far the best way to strengthen resolve. Visualization has been proven as a major mental programming tool in business, sports and other areas of human achievement.
Business success is not a matter of lucky breaks. Those who seem to get these breaks don't enjoy them long term. The formula that leads to success is simple. Condition your mind properly. Take the appropriate actions consistently. Discard what is not working and magnify what does work and you will achieve a lifetime of nothing but success.
